I like to tell stories, with and without photography, particularly in the context of travel. For me, travel is one of the most rewarding things a person can do. It doesn’t have to be expensive travel, or overseas travel. Simply going somewhere — anywhere — beyond the boundaries of one’s normal day-to-day life can bring great rewards. Travel can be an immensely powerful tool for battling prejudice. It broadens perspective and fosters compassion and understanding. The world is such an endlessly fascinating, complicated place, sometimes beautiful and sometimes terrible, but always worth exploring, even if just one town over.
